Terms and Conditions for Receipt of Weather Reports

1. You may withdraw from the mailing list at any time. Simply click on the appropriate link contained within each report or request to be removed from the mailing list by e-mailing remove@northantsweather.org.uk . Please do not use automated mail rejection to cease receiving reports.

2. You may not use the information and data sent in daily/monthly weather reports for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the station manager. The report is intended for general interest only. Commercial use of the data would normally require individual or corporate sponsorship depending on the amount of data required.

3. The weather station accepts no liability for the inaccuracy of any forecast, including the financial losses incurred.

4. The e-mail address supplied for registration must relate to the potential user of the report. Invalid e-mail addresses will be rejected. Individuals who abuse the service, such as to generate unsolicated spam and other netiquette violations, will be reported to the relevant Internet authority and black listed from this and related sites.

5. Users' e-mail addresses are kept anonymous. No personal information is released in the report. The weather station will not release the details of the mailing list to any individual or organisation.

6. The mailing list will not be used for the purposes of advertising, other than that relating directly to the services of Pitsford Hall weather station.

7. No charge will be made for Daily and Monthly Weather Reports. The weather station is a non-profit making organisation attached to Northamptonshire Grammar School, a registered charity no. 298910.

8. The weather station will not be liable for dispatching weather reports to mailboxes not authorised to receive a posting from a mailing list such as schools.

9. The weather station reserves the right to terminate an individual subscription without notice in the following circumstances:

(i) repeated mail delivery failures
(ii) unauthorised commercial use of the data

10. Under normal circumstances, the station will endeavour to deliver daily weather reports 7 days a week and before 1000hrs. Temporary suspensions will occur from time to time, but subscribers will be given notice of these. Monthly weather reports should be delivered by the 7th of each month. The weather station reserves the right to discontinue this service completely at any time.
